GAOFEN-3 products are processed to a Level-1D with the two steps below:

\[ DN_{true} = DN_{image} \times {QualifyValue \over 32767} \]


\[ \sigma_0 = 10 \times log_{10}(DN_{true}^2) - CalibrationConst \]

with \( QualifyValue \) and \( CalibrationConst \) values found in the product metadata


The input is an ingested GAOFEN-3, see details here.


The output is a STAC item geojson ... including the assets ...
